Port Talbot Dock is an unusual fishery. A disused dock, It is now freshwater and fed by a stream. It contains a diverse mixture of coarse fish species and even trout. The dock also has some sea fish species, which enter the venue through the gates. Besides being a well-known pike fishery, a wide variety of fish are caught, including mullet, bass, skimmers, roach, perch, rudd, bream, eels and tench. The bream fishing in particular is first class. Due to safety restrictions fishing is only allowed in some areas. Day tickets are available on the bank. Members of Glamorgan Angling Club may also fish the venue as part of their club arrangement. In all cases the bailiff Dai Morgan ‘The Worm’ must be contacted prior to fishing on 07886 301754
