Newport Angling Association has fishing on the River Wye. The Wye has many coarse fish besides its famous salmon, barbel, pike, chub, roach and dace can all be caught. The association also has fishing on Woodstock Pool, Morgans Pool and School Pool. All of these stillwaters hold good stocks of coarse fish.
