One of the oldest clubs in Wales, Glamorgan Anglers was founded in 1904. The Sheer diversity of fishing the GAC control is simply incredible. Glamorgan Anglers Club has fishing on the rivers Ely, Taff, Usk, Wye and its tributary, the Trothy, Bishops Pond, Treoes Lake, Pysgodlyn Mawr, Llantrithyd Lake, Gribbles Covert, St-Y-Nyll Top Pond, Sue’s Pond and Carol’s Pond. Port Talbot dock is a recent addition. Glamorgan Anglers control the River Taff from Radyr into and including Cardiff bay. Trout, grayling, salmon, chub and record breaking barbel abound. The Cardiff bay barrage lake itself has good perch fishing. You will struggle to fish all of their waters in a whole season, such is the sheer amount of quality fishing available.
