The water has been known to produce carp to well over 30lbs, skimmers to bream of 12lb+, tench to 7lbs, roach to 2lbs together with crucian carp, dace, ide, perch & rudd. There is an annual restocking of fish on this water.

The lake has approx 40 pegs, the vast majority of which are concreted. Eight are also designed for the disabled – numbers 4,5,6,14,15,21,22, and 23. There are also a number of pegs designed for carp anglers with bivvies.
