Llandegfedd Reservoir

Llandegfedd Reservoir, situated east of Pontypool, covers an area of 434 acres. The reservoir is well know for good trout fishing and is regularly stocked with rainbow and blue trout. Fishing is by fly and worm. Boat hire is available and a new lodge/visitor centre is now open.

Llandegfedd is a also one of the best coarse fishing venues in Wales. It holds the UK record pike and has prolific fishing for bream and hybrids.

Fish present include rainbow trout, bream, roach, pike and perch.
