Tawe & Tributaries Angling Association

Tawe Angling owns the fishing rights on the river Tawe and its tributaries from Pontardawe to the source of the river in the Brecon Beacons National Park as well as Brynhenllys Lake.

The association permits angling with rod and line for trout, sewin & salmon from Pontardawe Bridge upstream to the River Tawe source at Llyn-y-Fan Fawr.

A club permit enables fishing on both the main river and all tributaries within the watershed (26 miles in total). Both day and season permits are available for non members.

The Association also owns Brynhenllys Stillwater Fishery which provides fly only fishing for both stocked and wild Brown Trout. There is also fishing on a short stretch of the uppermost river Usk, just above the Usk reservoir to its source.

Tickets are available from local outlets, through the club website or online with the Fishing Passport.
