Rhayader and Elan Valley Angling Association has fishing on a wide range of stillwaters and river beats in Mid Wales. Their venues include llyn Gwyn, a natural lake run as a rainbow trout fishery, stretches on the Rivers Wye, Elan and Marteg for trout, salmon and grayling, the Elan Valley reservoir chain, Claerwen reservoir and various natural lakes within the catchment, all of which have good wild brown trout fishing.
