Prince Albert Angling Society was formed by a group of anglers who regularly met at the Prince Albert Pub in Macclesfield, Cheshire. Overall, the club has a portfolio of over 230 waters, a membership of over 8,500 and a waiting list approaching 2500.

Prince Albert Angling Society has dozens of beats on Welsh waters, especially in Mid and North Wales.

Their venues are mainly for game fish, but also for coarse fish. To fish these, you must be a club member, there are no day tickets available. There is currently a waiting list of about 2 years. Joining enquires to be made via the club website.

Prince Albert Angling Society water in Wales includes the River Dee, River Severn, River Vyrnwy, River Wnion, River Twymyn, River Towy, River Cothi, River Teifi, River Mawddach, River Llynfi, River Lledr, River Gam, River Dysinni, River Dulais, River Dovey, River Banwy, River Conwy, plus several stretches of canal and a few small stillwaters and lakes.
