Ogwen Valley Angling Association has game fishing on Llyn Idwal in Gwynedd, a mountain lake in spectacular surroundings. The lake holds wild brown trout to 1.5lb. Wading should only be attempted with extreme caution in the shallows, however anglers must be aware that the lake bed falls away steeply in places. Bank fishing is a necessity for most of the water. The walk up to Idwal, takes a well-built stony path of approximately 1km in length in about and at a medium pace takes about 20 minutes.
