Montgomeryshire Angling Association - Fishing in Wales

Montgomeryshire Angling Association

Montgomeryshire Angling Association is based in Welshpool, Mid Wales.

Montgomeryshire Angling Association has mixed coarse and game fishing on a number of local waters. Species caught include roach, perch, carp, tench, rudd and bream and trout.

The association has fishing on the River Severn, its tributaries, the Camlad and Vyrnwy, the Banwy, a tributary of the Vyrnwy, and on the Montgomery Canal at Welshpool and Moel Y Garth Pools.

Our waters are situated in idyllic rural surroundings, providing coarse and game fishing for our club members and day ticket visitors.

Whether you are a Pleasure, Match or Specialist Angler, there will be a venue to challenge your angling skills.
