Gwent Angling Society has game fishing for wild brown trout on the upper reaches of the River Sirhowy. A small river, which like many in the South Wales valleys has a post-industrial past, but now flows clear and abounds with moderately sized wild trout. To fish, anglers must join the club as full members. Apply to the secretary for details. Day tickets are available, to guests of members.
