Glamorgan Anglers control the River Taff from the M4 Bridge at Radyr Weir to Canton Bridge in Cardiff. Brown trout, grayling, salmon, chub and barbel can be found in this stretch of river, which is urban or semi-urban for most of its length. Other species can occasionally be caught on the lower part of the stretch, including chub, perch roach and dace. The river has been re-stocked on Glamorgan AA water with coarse fish fry in 2021. Including barbel, chub and silvers.
