Corwen and District Angling Club

Corwen and District Angling Club (CADAC) is the largest game fishing concern on the Welsh Dee. Club members enjoy 14 miles of prime river fishing.

CADAC’s waters are solely used for the purpose of game fishing and the Club’s fishing is all on the Dee and its tributaries.

In recent years CADAC has accounted for almost 20% of the total declared Salmon rod catch on the river. The Sea Trout run on the Dee is increasing and it is envisaged that this aspect of the sport will increase during the next few years.

Brown Trout also figure well but the Dee is famous for its Grayling. CADAC has some of the finest quality Grayling water in the UK

Corwen and District Angling Club has fishing on a wide range of waters:

The Dee has salmon, sea trout and brown trout. There is also grayling and mixed coarse fishing.

River Alwen, a tributary of the Dee, which fishes for salmon and brown trout.

River Ceirw, a tributary of the Alwen, which fishes for salmon and brown trout.

As from 1st July 2018, Corwen & District Angling Club has been integrated with Ceiriog Fly Fishers Ltd.

CADAC members are now members of Ceiriog Fly Fishers and the River Ceiriog waters are now part of CADAC’s renowned and extensive fishing on the River Dee and it’s tributaries.
