Capenhurst Angling Club - Fishing in Wales

Capenhurst Angling Club

A club based in Chester, Capenhurst AC has fishing water in Wales on two stretches of river.

Members can enjoy fishing for Salmon, Sea Trout, Trout and Grayling on a one mile section of the River Dee at Carrog, near Corwen. This water is particularly suitable for fly fishing for all these species. The Grayling fish can be superb, fish up to 3lbs in weight being landed most years.

Members also have access to a three quarter of a mile stretch of the River Elwy, near St. Asaph. This river has an excellent run of Sea Trout and a run of Salmon.

Tariff and details of how to join can be found on the club website.
