Cambrian Angling Association has fishing for wild brown trout on Llyn Manod. Any method is permitted. This 16-acre lake lies halfway between the Manod Mawr and Manod Bach mountains, above the town to the East. Fishing is rather rough due to the rocky shoreline, but the lake holds plenty of fish. Manod is at 1,400’ above sea level and is a 30 minutes walk from Blaenau Ffestiniog. It fished well with fly or spinner. A day ticket here also covers 14 other Cambrian AA stillwaters for you to roam around in one day.
