Angling Dreams has coarse and salmon fishing on the River Wye at Lower Symonds Yat. Lower Symonds Yat consists of 2.5 miles of drivable (in all weather), double bank fly and spinning water just a couple of miles upstream of the famous Wyesham Fishery. This is truly one of the most beautiful stretches of the whole river, as it runs through a limestone gorge on it’s way from England into Wales. It has excellent barbel, chub and pike fishing, also salmon. Here, the river is a mixture of gravel runs and deep channels. Towards the lower limit is Martin’s Pool – a deep section of river reputed to hold enormous carp and pike. This stretch of river is a syndicate, for coarse and salmon anglers, although day tickets for salmon can be booked via the Fishing Passport.
