Aberystwyth Angling Association: Llyn Pendam - Fishing in Wales

Aberystwyth Angling Association: Llyn Pendam

Aberystwyth Angling Association has fishing on Llyn Pen Dam, also known as Llyn Pendam, which has wild brown trout.

Llyn Pendam has crystal clear water and is very weedy in summer. The banks are overgrown and very boggy in places making it hard to fish.

Llyn Pendam has suffered from acid rain in the past and was once limed. It has barely been fished in recent times. As such the fish population is unknown, but thought to be quite low in numbers. When it was limed it did produce good quality fish.

This is part of Aberystwyth Angling Association waters, so a day ticket here is valid for all other Aberystwyth AA waters on that date.
