At around 25 acres Glandwgan is a fairly large lake. Quite lowland in character, It is connected to Llyn Rhosrydd by a small stream and sits ½ a mile further down the same valley. It requires a walk of about 600 yards. The lake is noted for its dry fly fishing when the Coch-y- Bonddy are on the wing in June. Glandwgan has a good head of 10-16oz brown trout with the occasional bigger fish. Anglers must leave their vehicles in the car park at Rhosrhydd. Fly fishing, spinning and earthworm fishing are allowed on Glandwgan.
