Newport Angling Association has coarse fishing on the River Wye at Bigsweir. The Wye has many coarse fish besides its famous salmon, barbel, pike, chub, roach and dace can all be caught. Contact the club through their Facebook page for more information. Gary Evans Newport is a day ticket vendor.
