Monmouth and District Angling Society has fishing on the Duke’s Water stretch of the River Wye at Monmouth, referred to as the “Lower” beat by the society. This consists of 3 miles of coarse fishing only for barbel, chub and grayling. Please note that fishing is not allowed during the salmon season (currently 3rd March to 17th October).
