The Llanddewi beat comprises 1½ miles of double bank upper river Ithon fishing. It offers anglers the chance of wild brown trout and some excellent grayling fishing. With a mostly gravel and shale riverbed, the wading is relatively easy. There are some very deep pools however, so care is needed. The banks are quite open with relatively easy backcasting. The fishery is fly only from March 3rd to October 31st with trotting for grayling permitted outside this period.
